BT 2005

BT review 19 Dec 2004

Do you feel spiritually fulfilled with this BT so far?
Similar background; 有共鳴; Being encouraged; Being inspired; Able to speak up without hesitation; Have known each other more; We could even more open up to share our lives, including some dark side of us which could hardly speak up. So that we could involve in each others’ lives in an innocent way as a childhood friend who can accept our good and bad unconditionally.

1. Let’s have a prayer/confession time monthly (on the last Sunday QT of each month)
I will boost all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For what I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10
I know what it is to be in need, and know that what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12


What would make you feel more be loved and having enjoyment of being a Christian in this BT?
We are a group of 辛苦的女人, so suggest enjoying a half-day special treat by other sisters with our own choice; Suggestion to have an over night trip to show off our non-made-up face, small habits and heart; Camping; Elizabeth never has chance to go camping when she was young.
Elizabeth commented that everybody should be leader of their own (take their own initiative and responsibility) in any BT, but a common goal and common attitude clues people together.

1. To suggest Jonathan BT to have a Camping in 2005 so that our BT can join.
2. To join Jonathan BT Sunday lunch and BT activities as much as possible.
3. To have an over-night trip to city near by HK, i.e. Macau, Zhong Shan…..
Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm. 2 Corinthians 2:24


What is your mission God has given you in this BT and how would you like to carry out with fun?
Out-reaching; Bible study; Out-reaching through writing and Create a support group for women alike (Single parents)
Elizabeth commented that prior to this small BT, she has put us in a big group for making us be related with other brothers and sisters. Now, when comes to bible study, we still can share resources from the big group and her. Just feel free to ask.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:4

Iris – Cindy Ting(classmate), Mrs. Yuen(family friend), Anna Cheng(ex-colleague) and Janet (ex-banker)
Bonnie -
We know there are lots of difficulties in ministry; we decided to surrender all to God through prayers without trapping ourselves into unnecessary worries.

1. Give them a call consistently and invite them to Sunday Church or BT.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 2 Corinthians 10:6

Pray for Ellen, Shirley, Eva, Cindy Ting, Mrs. Yuen, Anna Cheng and Janet to come to our BT and have study bible
Pray for Abbie (3 years old) has virus in brain and now in coma

Suggest on Friday evening or Saturday morning
Place yet to have suggestions
Choices – day & venue
1. Friday Evening – someone’s home (Connie?), or
2. Saturday Morning – can use Elizabeth’s club at Admiralty
We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we can make it our goal to please him….
